About Me
Hi, I'm Abir Opu. I'm a pharmacy student at Jahangirnagar University, and I'm passionate about making science faster and more accessible.
Why I built InSilicoDoc
I know the struggle of trying to run complex simulations on limited hardware or dealing with software that's expensive, clunky, and hard to use. I built InSilicoDoc to cut through that noise. My goal is simple: to provide high-quality, automated tools that save students and researchers hours of manual work, completely for free. I believe technology shouldn't be a barrier to discovery — it should be a bridge.
I'm a firm believer in making science and tech easy to understand. I've had the opportunity to share my work on national media, including appearances on Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Nexus TV. Those experiences showed me how hungry people are for better, simpler ways to learn and do science.
National television appearance on BTV — discussing science education and technology.

On set at Nexus TV with the team — talking tech, science, and the future of education.
Not gatekeeping research.
I'm not trying to gatekeep research. I'm just a student building the tools I wish I had on day one. Whether you're a fellow student or a researcher, I hope these tools make your workflow a little bit easier and your research a little bit faster.
And BRICM — the most prestigious scientific research institution in Bangladesh — showed me exactly how much more we can improve.
Thanks for stopping by. 🧬
